Aisha Wahab Wins Eric Swalwell’s Former House Seat

Aisha Wahab has won the special election for California’s 14th Congressional District, securing the House seat formerly held by Eric Swalwell. The progressive Democrat defeated Bay Area Rapid Transit board member Melissa Hernandez and will serve the remainder of Swalwell’s term, which runs through January.
