Apple is set to host its biggest launch event of the year on September 9. The company is expected to unveil the new iPhone 18 series phone at the event along with its first foldable iPhone. Ahead of the launch, alleged colour options of the iPhone 18 Pro have leaked online. According to a leak, the smartphone is expected to arrive in three color options when the company unveils its next Pro models, according to a new leak. A report by Fixed Focus Digital claims claims Apple has now started full production of the iPhone 18 Pro, with sky blue, pure black and burgundy tipped as the three colors for the lineup.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro may return to black

The reported color lineup would mark a return of black to Apple’s Pro iPhone range. The iPhone 17 Pro series did not offer a black option, although black was available on other iPhone models, including the iPhone Air, iPhone 17 and iPhone 17E.The latest leak suggests Apple may not offer a traditional silver or gray option on the iPhone 18 Pro this year. The sky blue and burgundy colors would give buyers two options beyond the reported black finish.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro price could be the bigger question

While the color options may attract attention, the price of the iPhone 18 Pro could be more important for buyers. Apple has increased prices on some products as the ongoing memory shortage puts pressure on consumer electronics costs. The new Mac Mini with an M6 processor, for example, starts at $899, compared with $599 for the M4 model it replaced. That has raised questions about whether Apple could also increase the price of its next Pro iPhones. The iPhone 17 Pro starts at $1,099, and it remains unclear whether the iPhone 18 Pro will retain that starting price or cost more.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro expected features

The main 48MP Fusion camera is rumored to gain a variable aperture, allowing users to adjust how much light enters the camera. This could provide greater control over depth of field and improve photography in different lighting conditions. Apple is also said to be simplifying the Camera Control button by removing touch sensitivity and haptic feedback. The button would reportedly rely only on pressure sensitivity. As per leaks, the phone will continue to use 6.3-inch display but switch to LTPO+ display technology, which could help extend battery life. Another major upgrade could be Apple’s new C2 modem, which is expected to improve cellular performance and efficiency. The new modem may also enable 5G via satellite, allowing users to browse the web even when traditional cellular and Wi-Fi networks are unavailable. The iPhone 18 Pro lineup is also expected to feature Apple’s next-generation N2 wireless chip, although its exact improvements remain unknown.
