Delta Adds New Direct Austin–Paris Route

Delta Airlines is expanding its presence at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport with a new nonstop route to Paris, giving travelers in the Texas capital a direct connection to Europe. The airline announced the service on August 13 as part of a broader expansion of its Austin operations.

New Austin–Paris Service

The new Delta route will connect Austin with Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport beginning March 27, 2027. The service is scheduled to operate daily during the summer season, providing travelers with a convenient nonstop option between the two cities. Delta plans to use its Airbus A330-900 aircraft for the route.

The announcement marks a significant development for Austin’s international air service. Delta says the new route will provide passengers with nonstop access to Paris while also creating one-stop connections to nearly 70 destinations across Europe, India and Africa through its partnership with Air France-KLM.

Delta Expands Its Austin Network

The Paris announcement is part of a larger push by Delta to strengthen its operations at Austin-Bergstrom. The airline has been increasing its presence at the airport in recent years as demand for air travel from the growing Texas city continues to rise.

Delta’s broader plans include additional domestic and international service from Austin. By summer 2027, the airline expects to serve around 30 destinations from the airport and operate more than 70 daily departures on peak travel days. The carrier is also planning additional service, including a new Austin-to-San Diego route.

For Austin travelers, the new Paris service could make European travel simpler by eliminating the need for a connecting flight. It also strengthens the city’s position as an increasingly important international travel market, while giving Delta a larger role in connecting Central Texas with destinations around the world.
