Sony announced the September additions on September 9, with games arriving on different dates throughout the month. The selection includes major releases such as WWE 2K26 and RuneScape: Dragonwilds, along with several smaller titles that could be easy to overlook.
A Smaller Month After a Strong August
The September lineup does not have quite the same impact as August’s offerings, which included Helldivers 2 and other high-profile additions. Kotaku describes the new selection as slimmer by comparison, but notes that there are still some interesting games for subscribers willing to dig into the catalog.

The game also includes a Showcase centered on CM Punk and alternate-history scenarios exploring what might have happened if he had never left WWE.

Another major addition is RuneScape: Dragonwilds, a PS5 survival adventure set in the RuneScape universe.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers also receive two additions to the Classics Catalog: Mega Man X Command Mission and Metro Redux.
Mega Man X Command Mission is an unusual entry in Capcom’s franchise, transforming the familiar action series into a turn-based RPG. Metro Redux, meanwhile, takes players into a post-apocalyptic world where survivors struggle to survive underground while facing mutant threats. Both are scheduled for September 15.
