First public appearances after the wedding

Just one week after exchanging vows, Swift and Kelce were photographed attending the wedding of Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk.

The appearance marked one of the first public glimpses of the couple as husband and wife. Swift wore a floral pink gown and was photographed with her hand over her heart during the ceremony, while Kelce appeared alongside her in a suit and tie. Both were seen wearing their new wedding rings.

The couple had also spent time with members of Kelce’s family. PEOPLE reported that Swift was spotted in Montana with her new in-laws, Jason and Kylie Kelce, shortly after the wedding.

Settling into married life

While much of their life together has remained private, a source told PEOPLE in August that Swift and Kelce are happy as they begin married life.

“They’re both just so excited that they’re husband and wife now,” the source said, adding that the couple feels particularly grateful as they begin this new stage of their relationship.

The couple’s schedules, however, have quickly pulled them in different directions. Kelce has been preparing for another NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs, while Swift has continued her professional activities.

Kelce has continued to publicly display his new wedding band. On Aug. 15, he was photographed wearing the gold ring while arriving at Arrowhead Stadium ahead of the Chiefs’ preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Earlier in August, Kelce also referred to Swift as his “wife” publicly for the first time since their wedding while speaking to reporters at Chiefs training camp.

The newlyweds have continued to attract intense attention from fans, but the photos that have emerged since their wedding show a couple easing into married life while maintaining their individual careers.

Swift has also remained close to the Kelce family. Kylie Kelce recently referred to the singer as “Aunt Taylor” while discussing her family on her podcast, reflecting Swift’s increasingly close relationship with Travis’ nieces and nephews.
